My Contribution to the "Why Philosophy?" Project
Céline Leboeuf's project is a source of inspiration.
Today, I make an appearance on the always-inspiring “Why Philosophy?” page, which is curated by my friend Céline Leboeuf.
Céline is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Affiliate Faculty in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Florida International University. I met her a few years ago at a meeting for the American Society of Existential Phenomenology.
We bonded over our shared interest in bringing philosophy out of the seminar room and into broader public conversations. She does an awesome job with this on her Substack page and other public philosophy essays she publishes. I am really looking forward to her forthcoming book, My Body, My Self, which will be out in the fall of 2026.
Please read my post over at the “Why Philosophy?” page (and subscribe to the page while you are there). It is a short interview and takes just a few minutes. Let me know what you think!
Thank you, Céline, for including me.
